It started with a kid who won't stop shooting
Hi neighbors! 👋 My son is completely basketball-obsessed — he'd shoot hoops all day if I let him. So I'm putting together a casual basketball group for 4th and 5th graders here in the area, and I'd love for your kids to join.
The idea is simple: get the kids together for an hour or two to play, have fun, and pick up some skills along the way. We'll mix in a little instruction so they keep improving, but mostly it's about real game reps, making friends, and burning off energy.
Honestly, I just want my son — and hopefully your kids — to have a fun crew to hoop with. That's the whole thing.

Nothing's set in stone yet — right now I'm just gauging interest. The more families that sign up, the easier it is to lock in a time and spot that works for everyone.

Most likely a local park. I'll lock in the spot once I know who's in.
🕖 When
Probably an early weekend morning (~7–8am to beat the heat) or a 7pm weeknight. Totally flexible — I'll work around what fits families best.
💵 Cost
Free. Always. Just bring water and a good attitude.
